Japan Festival Hamburg 2026

On Sunday, 31 May 2026, the time has come once again. We will be celebrating the annual Japan Festival from 12:00 to 18:00 in the Japanese Garden at Planten un Blomen, by the old tea house.

Come and enjoy culinary delights, sporting demonstrations, drumming, yukata fittings, origami and much more. We look forward to a wonderful day with you, your friends, neighbours and everyone else who loves Japan!

Admission is free!

Japan Festival 2026 Confirmed

The Japan Festival Hamburg will take place again in 2026 – on 31 May in the Japanese Garden.

Public transportation recommended: U-Bahn Stephansplatz or Bahnhof Dammtor.

The application window is currently closed. From early 2027, you will have the opportunity to apply as an exhibitor for the Japan Festival Hamburg 2027 and offer cultural events, goods, beverages or food. We look forward to seeing you!
